Dom Dowbekin is a producer working across film, video, and installation, with a focus on projects that push creative boundaries and drive meaningful impact.

Dom began his career under the mentorship of Don Boyd, rising quickly through the ranks at Hibrow TV—a “YouTube for the arts.” There, he produced over 100 titles featuring leading figures such as Steven Berkoff, Ken Russell, Joanna Lumley, Mark Cousins, Mania Akbari, Alison Jackson, Gavin Turk, Michelangelo Pistoletto and Amit Chaudhuri. He also led a series of live performance broadcasts to Odeon Cinemas and the BBC.

As a freelance producer, Dom has collaborated with a wide range of artists, institutions, and organisations including the Dalai Lama, London Symphony Orchestra, London Film School, Glastonbury Festival, The Tallis Scholars, Shirin Neshat, Iain Forsyth & Jane Pollard, Conor Harrington, Joey Holder, Asian Dub Foundation and Block9. His portfolio spans the full spectrum of media—supporting both established and emerging voices in the arts.

Commercial work has included content for clients such as HSBC, NatWest, Sky Sports, and ITV Racing. He also represents immersive technology company Broomx in the UK, helping bridge the gap between tech and creative storytelling.

Dom has worked closely with fashion designer and activist Katharine Hamnett since 2022, aligning with projects that promote sustainability and social change.

His work has shown at major international film festivals as well as at Saatchi Gallery in London, Palais de la Porte Dorée in Paris and MUCA in Munich.

He is currently developing a series of films on contemporary Afghanistan.

Dom holds a degree in English Language and Literature from King’s College London and has a background performing and recording with classical, jazz and electronic music ensembles.
